MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROYEK (PROJECT BASE LEARNING) DALAM KITAB ADIPARWA (STUDI KOMPARASI KISAH BHAGAWAN DOMYA)
Sari
There are several learning models that are appropriate to be applied in the 2013 curriculum, including Project Based Learning, Discovery Learning, and Problem Based Learning. As a teacher, especially Hinduism Teachers, we should able to design and choose learning models that are appropriate to the characteristics of students. If we refer to the Itihasa Mahabharatha book, namely Adiparwa, we will find that one of the learning models applied in the 2013 curriculum, Project Based Education, has been practice by one of the Acharya or Hindu Religious Educators, Bhagawan Domya. The application of the project based learning model can be seen in the assignments that given by Bhagawan Domya to his three students, namely: Sang Arunika, Sang Utamanyu and Sang Wedha. Sang Arunika was told to paddy, Sang Utamanyu was told to shepherd while Sang Wedha was given the task of cooking. Based on the above we can conclude that Hindu literature is not outdated and it is still relevant even though it has been thousands of years old, because there are still many educational values that we can systematically apply to the world of education today
